Is Christianity Good for the World?

Of course, it is.

But, what do you think?

Any truly optimal conclusion should be able to withstand the most negative attacks. If optimal is light then anything less should appear darker when held next to it. The only question is: What do you see?

One of the best ways to get a clear view of your own beliefs is to listen to a debate of opposing views. The more talented the debaters the better overview you get of the subject. I love the condensed format of debates. They are one of my ways to learn about a subject.

One night when I couldn’t sleep I ran across someone I had never heard of before: Christopher Hitchens. It was a debate with Douglas Wilson at the Christianity Today website. Since I rarely hear people challenging Reverends and Priests, directly, on issues of Christianity I was completely fascinated with the exchange.

Faith is a big leap for any person to take. Reading this debate between Christopher Hitchens and Douglas Wilson may help people take that leap.

At the very least it will leave you well informed of your own objections and concerns. See for yourself by reading Christopher and Douglas debate the question Is Christianity Good for the World?
