There’s Something Wrong with Every Body

“Your job is to find out what’s wrong with yours and deal with it.”

That’s what my friend Seroj said when I told him a blood test showed I had hemochromatosis.

And he was right. We all have at least one thing wrong with our bodies. A simple truth, brilliant and disarming.

Seroj has a form of diabetes and is glad he does. Because dealing with it brings many other benefits to his health that have nothing to do with diabetes. Ironically, he’s healthier now because of the diabetes!

This article is not about the medical detection process. Its about my belief that there is a 100% probability that we all have at least one health issue inherent to our own bodies that needs to be detected. The Earlier you find out what yours is, the better.

No Body’s Perfect

When preparing for Mr. Olympia, Arnold said that no matter how perfect your body is no one has perfect symmetry. The weak parts have to brought into balance with the rest of the body. Pointing out his sloped shoulders and small calves compared to the rest of his body, sure enough, he’s right.

Lack of perfect symmetry is a great way to describe the lack of perfection within our bodies. No body is completely symmetrical within itself.

It’s a miracle that our bodies are as perfect as they are. We can safely take for granted however many billions of complex relationships and interactions that occur within us every second we’re alive. But, no body is perfect in every single one of those complexities and interactions. We cannot be perfectly symmetrical and strong in every way. And our bodies are changing every second we’re alive. Technically, we’re not even the same person from one minute to the next.

Not IF, but WHAT?

Realizing that there’s probably some natural deficiency within you is liberating. You don’t have to waste time or effort wondering if something’s wrong. Just start finding out what it is.

And the benefits to actually dealing with your natural deficiency are enormous. You not only begin healing yourself but the remedy itself will most likely benefit the rest of your body and life, as well. If you have the conditions I do then dealing with them may even safe your life!

What’s Wrong With Me?

There’s two things wrong with my body: An inherited predisposition to high blood pressure and a blood problem called hemochromatosis. Both are equally silent, painless and deadly.

But, they’re not deadly for me. Quite the opposite: Dealing with each has been a boost to my overall health and quality of life. That’s because the remedies, nutrients, change of habits and diet necessary to treat or neutralize my ailments confer benefits far beyond the ailments, themselves.

This is irony at its finest. The dietary changes and nutrients needed to tame my blood pressure do much more for me than just keeping my blood pressure down. For more on how I’ve eliminated the deadly threat of hypertension see my article “Eliminating Hypertension Without Drugs.”

The treatment for my Hemachromatosis is bloodletting. Yes, bloodletting like they used to do to rid the bodies of evil spirits. For more on the unlikely side benefits of the cure for Hemachromotosis see my article “How To Save Your Own Life”

The Earlier, The Better

The earlier you find out what’s wrong with you the better. I believe there’s something wrong with every body. In some cases, the symptoms don’t appear until later in life. But, what’s the point of waiting to have symptoms?

Your conditions won’t go away by not learning about them. They’ll only get worse. You may not even get the luxury of having symptoms. Either way you’ll be in some kind of compromised state of health that can probably be avoided, altogether.

I found out about my high blood pressure while donating blood. I only found out about hemachromotosis when it was diagnosed in my brother. By that time he already had advanced symptoms. Both of my body’s deficiencies are silent killers if left untreated.

In some ways we have to become our own doctors. That doesn’t mean getting a medical degree or reading health books all the time. But, we should understand our bodies at least as well as we understand our cars. If you only have one book on the subject a good one is ”You, the Owners Manual”, by Michael F. Roizen.
