Jason’s Optimal Coin Shop(s)

Although I’ve never met Jason, I have bought and sold, in person, at both his Rocklin Coin Shop and JH Mint. Having been to dozens of other coin shops Jason’s inventory, prices, employees, and the excellent way they are run stand head and shoulders above the rest. You’ll get a straight answer, no games and the quote you receive over the phone will not change once you get to the shop (Other than the spot price, of course).

7. If you wire transfer I ship immediately. If you mail a check I ship 3 days after depositing the check so it has time to clear.

For the Record

• I’m interested in BULLION ONLY buys and sells. No old coins or items hard to value. I may be interested in things like morgan silver dollars, but, only ones that are easy to value.
• You probably should purchase Greater than $X to avoid sales tax.
• You probably should purchase Less than $10,000 to avoid unnecessary reporting.
• Pay with Wire transfer or Check. Like most dealers the margins are too small to pay for debit or credit card fees. I may take them in the future, but, will just add their fees on to your price so what’s the point?
• When I sell to you, you’re silver is shipped immediately upon recieving your wire or 3 days after receiving your check. The 3 days gives time for the check to clear.
• When I buy from you, you recieve a wire transfer or check from me when I get the silver.
• You should probably not purchase silver with money you’re going to need in the next six months. Pay off a credit card, pay a bill in advance or even buy a months supply of food, instead. If your time horizon is this short then avoid the expense of going into and out of silver in too much of a rush.
• If you think economic collapse is eminent then you should probably buy what you think you’ll need silver for before buying silver itself. Silver is a medium of exchange that holds its value and enables division of labor. In an economic collapse, we lose division of labor, temporarily. Under those circumstances, prices rise even in terms of silver and gold as happened in Weimar Germany. Make sure you have enough food. Then call me and we’ll set you up with silver.
